Cypress Employment has a client in Mobile looking for several Meltblown Operators for night shift.
Schedule: 7pm-7am, must work every other weekend – Pay rate is $14.50/hour + OT

Brief Description: Work on the meltblown production line producing all sorbent type products as required while being dedicated to providing our customers with the highest quality products.

Job duties:

Production of finished goods in the meltblown work center;
Housekeeping of work center
Material handling of raw materials and finished goods;
Operation of various converting equipment and tools;
Adhere to quality specs and special instructions found on production order;
Completion of inventory record keeping functions;
Perform quality checks and collect quality data as needed;
Participate in process improvement;
Perform all other production related duties assigned or directed;
 Job Requirements:

Math and measurement skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, weight scale reading and accurate recording in decimals, using liner measurement devices, skills at high school level or higher;
Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness;
Must demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment;
Willing to share input readily to improve our manufacturing processes;
Must be willing to show up for work consistently and on time when scheduled
 Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., 4 feet off the floor 10-20 times an hour;
Manual dexterity a must
Ability to stand 12 plus hours at a time
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment with high heat, cold temperatures, and dust
Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent and can read, write, and understand instructions in English.  Must be able to perform mathematics commensurate with high school graduation levels.
Experience working in a manufacturing or light manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; experience working in a continuous manufacturing facility is a plus. 
Experience operating a forklift is a plus; must be willing to learn to drive a forklift

Skills Knowledge and Abilities: 

Knowledge of machine operation and a team production concept
Excellent oral and written communication skills including writing reports
Must be able to operate office equipment such as a personal computer and printer
Must be able to interact with people in other departments for a common goal
Must have a willingness to share input to help improve processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus
Ability to operate a forklift
Must be able to maintain excellent attendance and timeliness
