Overview
ATSS Group has an Engineering Firm client who is seeking an Electrical PE for a direct position in their Mobile, AL. location. This is a multidiscipline firm with a wide variety of experience in heavy industrial, commercial, and government projects. This position requires some Auto CADD experience. The chosen Electrical Engineer will work on projects to including but not limited to; power distribution, lighting and auxiliary systems as well as design for new and retrofits of industrial facilities.
Requirements:
BS Electrical Engineering
7-10+ year’s experience with design/installation of medium and low-voltage distribution equipment
Working knowledge of system and equipment grounding requirements (high resistance, building and isolated grounding)
Responsibilities include designing lighting and electrical power systems for industrial buildings, designing power distribution systems, lighting systems, motor control centers (MCC) with wiring schematics, and developing construction specifications.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFP
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Well organized and able to participate in projects and meet deadlines
Participate in the planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating detailed phases of electrical engineering projects
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
