ATSS Engineering has a client in Calvert, AL looking for a Team Manager, Electrical Maintenance Cold Roll Mill.
The Basics

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology or related; or combination of post-secondary education and related experience
5-10 years’ experience with operation, maintenance or reliability in heavy industry required
5 years’ experience managing maintenance personnel, with demonstrated experience in working with multi-skilled maintenance teams and recourse allocation
Report creation and presentation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Previous management / supervisor experience desired
Strong SAP and maintenance and materials management experience preferred
Strong Cold Roll Mill knowledge and experience preferred

Interfaces and oversees performance of maintenance, technical issues, and project work related to shutdowns and outages
Supports all production lines and maintenance activities to develop and implement program interface scheduling required to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiencies
Investigates and supports/performs technical analysis on deficiencies related to repeat occurrences
Provides clear and concise documentation for work order completion and work history documentation
Reviews OEM manuals and procedures for adaptation and incorporates support when issues arise
Provides incident investigation and root cause failure analysis support to improve safety and reliability
Sets goals and objectives for team members aligned with the CRM business plan, and exercises accountability
Motivates, coaches and mentors team members to meet their performance goals and objectives
Initiates and participates in disciplinary actions and promotion decisions
Creates and deploys workforce, succession, development, and training plans for the team
Responsible for overall shutdown supervision
Represents Area Manager Maintenance, as needed

Days, Monday to Friday with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads or weekend coverage
